For Sale
Terms of Sale - Leaning Pine Farm will provide a bill of sale for each goat sold. Once sold, goats will not be allowed to return to the farm.
If a buckling or doeling bred and sold by Leaning Pine is found, after sale, to have been sold with a serious breeding defect - once said defect is confirmed by a veterinarian, we will refund 50% of the purchase price and offer the buyer a 50% discount on their choice of replacement doeling or buckling.
At the moment, we have a higher than normal number of goats for sale. To allow for more rapid updates, our current sales list is available as a Google spreadsheet at the link below.
Leaning Pine Farm is located in Lenawee County, Michigan.
Anna - 2022 Mini-Alpine - SOLD
75% Alpine - 25% Nigerian
Dam: Psalms Songs Doterra
Sire: Davis (not owned by Leaning*Pine)
Anna is our remaining doe out of the first three kids born on the farm. When we purchased Doterra in the fall of 2021, she was carrying Anna and her siblings. Anna had her first freshening in 2024 with twin boys, sired by Woolie. She kidded unassisted and did an excellent job dam raising. She repeated with twin boys, both dam raised, in 2025.
We did not disbud our 2022 kids so she does still have her horns. She is doing well with milk stand training and stands to be milked by machine without hobbles. We've only weighed her milk once and that 24-hr milk amount came out to 5.5 lbs. Anna tested negative from Johnes and CL in August of 2023 and her most recent negative CAE test is from Feb of 2025 (we generally only do one initial Johnes and CL screening per animal unless there's cause for more).
As of July of 2025, she is still in milk.

Manny - - SOLD
2022 Mini-Lamancha/Boer Buck
Proven, with 2023 kids on the ground. His 2023 kids were nice and stocky. This is your guy if you're a homesteader looking for dual purpose animals. Tested negative for CAE, CL, and Johnes on 8/25/23. He's in rut and ready to go.
He is priced to move at $125.

GRANTED-WISHES CHINOOKS OREO -- SOLD
2023 ADGA Registered American Alpine Buckling
DOB: March 28, 2023
Dam: KEVIN'S RA'SHINDALA
Sire: OLENTANGY OAA CHINOOK
I watched Oreo's older half sisters do well in good competition at the Mitten Madness event in 2023. Only reason he's going is because I got two bucks out of the kidding and only need to keep one.
Chinook is the full brother to Olentangy OAA Chimay, the 2019 ADGA National Premier Alpine Sire. Chinook's dam and granddam are both exceptional does appraising EX93 and both winning their classes at Nationals.

LEANING*PINE BAY BANNER - SOLD
2023 ADGA Registered Experimental Buckling
DOB: May 15, 2023
Sire: THISTLE CORNER SPICEY HOT
More information about Banner's dam, Spice, is available at her page - linked below. More information about his sire, Hulk, is available on our buck page. Banner was dam raised, but well socialized.
Dam tested CAE negative early 2023, photo of her udder available on her page. His sire's dam scored VVEE 89 during linear appraisal as a three year old. This guy is wide and heavy and quickly packed on the pounds while nursing. He'd be great for a 4-H level herd that wanted to show the does in the breeder classes and the wethers in the dairy-market classes.
