Terra is a 2019 American Alpine. We suspect 2023 was her fourth freshening, with three freshenings confirmed. She was dry for 2024. Her unassisted 2023 kidding produced twin bucks and she spent 2023 on once per day milking.

 

She was purchased in December of 2021, carrying her 2022 triplets which she kidded in April of 2022 without assistance. At the midway point in her 2022 lactation, she averaged 9.1 lbs of milk per day with twice daily milking. We really appreciate the size and width of this doe, she's approximately 33" tall and weighed in at 160lbs while in milk. Anyone looking for a pet wether for the packing or sporting classes in 4-H should keep a close eye on her future kids with Hulk, as we expect those kids to be big and wide as well.

 

We also (situationally) love her traditionally alpine "sassy" personality; this is not a doe that leaves you wondering whether she's happy about her situation in life!
